  2. Yeah The Mask was based off from a funny but also dark comic book series that was made by Dark Horse comics. The mask also had some couple of famous crossovers but the main one that was very noticeable was the team up comic with Batman. Jim Carrey was one of the first main pioneers that killed the role for Super Hero comic book films along with Stallone Judge Dredd, Robocop, Spawn , M.I.B, and Blade. The sequel was crap as hell and if they ever wanted to make a reboot they either bring back Jim Carrey back or if Jim Carrey have a secret son or clone inspired actor that looks and acts like him to play the role.
